The Committee of Thoroughbred Breeders NSW Ltd (TBNSW) had much pleasure in presenting the TBNSW 2006/2007 Annual Awards at a cocktail function held on Tuesday, 16 October 2007 in the Newmarket Room of the William Inglis & Son complex at Randwick.

For the third year in a row, TBNSW presented a special award in recognition of an outstanding contribution made to the NSW thoroughbred industry internationally. The recipient of this award was:

Beauty Belle

of Suffolk Vale Farm. 

Beauty Belle is the dam of Absolute Champion, who was ranked as the world’s top sprinter with a rating of 121 by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities covering the period 1 December, 2006 to 10 June, 2007. Absolute Champion was also honoured at the Hong Kong Jockey Club 2006/2007 Champion Awards when he was named Champion Sprinter.
