Last Saturday's running of the Group 2 Breeders' Classic, sponsored by the TBNSW was a triumph for NSW-breds, with Danehill Dancer mare Steps In Time claiming her second black-type victory. Taking the lead not long after the start, Danehill Dancer mare Steps In Time (pictured left in yellow) recorded the biggest win of her career, defeating Group 1-winning Lonhro mare Beaded, with Dane Shadow mare Red Tracer in third.
Bred by Mr N Hoar, Mr M Everett and Mr J Jackson, it was suggested that Steps In Time could target the Group 1 Coolmore Classic in the coming months. Out of the Group 2 winner Rare Insight, Kitchwin Hills will offer a Lonhro half-brother to Steps In Time in the forthcoming Inglis Easter yearling sale as lot 351. |
