WEEKEND RACING - 29 & 30/05/04

A wonderful weekend of Black Type Racing in Queensland and Western Australia this week.  Doomben was the venue in Queensland on Saturday for the Group 1 Doomben Cup, the Group 3 BTC Sprint, the listed Rough Habit Plate and the listed Doomben Slipper.  Belmont in Western Australia was the venue for the Group 3 Roma Cup.

 

TBNSW members were successful in the Group 1 Doomben Cup.

 

In Brisbane

Doomben was the venue for black type racing in Queensland on Saturday with the running of the Group 1 Doomben Cup, the Group 3 BTC Sprint, the listed Rough Habit Plate and the listed Doomben Slipper on an eight event card. Yet another wonderful weekend of Black Type Racing in South Australia, Queensland and New South Wales this week.  Morphettville was the venue in South Australia on Saturday for the Group 1 Goodwood Handicap, the Group 1 South Australian Derby, the Group 3 Sires Produce Stakes and the Group 3 Adelaide Guineas.  The Gold Coast was the venue in Queensland on Saturday for the running of the Group 2 Prime Ministers Cup, the Group 2 Hollindale Stakes and the listed Ken Russell Classic.

 

On Sunday, black type racing was held in Queensland and New South Wales .  Eagle Farm was the venue in Queensland for the running of the listed Dr John Power Handicap and the listed QTC Metropolitan.  Gosford in New South Wales was the venue for the Group 3 Gosford Gold Cup.

WEEKEND RACING - 8 & 9/05/04

A wonderful weekend of Black Type Racing in South Australia , Queensland and New South Wales this week.  Morphettville was the venue in South Australia for the Group 1 Australasian Oaks, the Group 2 Yallambee Classic, the Group 2 Marsh Classic, the Group 3 Carlton Draught Stakes, the listed Yalumba Plate, the listed Smoke Free Stakes and the listed Stuart Crystal Stakes.  Eagle Farm was the venue in Queensland on Saturday for the running of the Group 2 Queensland Guineas, the Group 2 Sir Byrne Hart Stakes and the listed Ramsay Stakes.  Rosehill Gardens was the venue in New South Wales for the listed Lord Mayors Cup and the listed Civic Stakes.

 

On Sunday, black type racing was held in Victoria and Tasmania .  Flemington was the venue in Victoria for the running of the listed Gibson Carmichael Stakes whilst Hobart in Tasmania was the venue for the listed Cascade Classic.

 

TBNSW members were successful in the Group 2 Yallambee Classic, the listed Stuart Crystal Stakes and listed Gibson Carmichael Stakes.

 

In Adelaide

Morphettville was the venue in South Australia for black type racing on Saturday with the running of the Group 1 Australasian Oaks, the Group 2 Yallambee Classic, the Group 2 Marsh Classic, the Group 3 Carlton Draught Stakes, the listed Yalumba Plate, the listed Smoke Free Stakes and the listed Stuart Crystal Stakes on an eight event card.  TBNSW members recorded 2 winners (including a G2 and LR), a second placing and a third placing on the day.
