Thursday the 26th of January 2006

   

Black type racing was conducted mid-week, on Australia Day, in Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia. Sandown Lakeside was the venue in Victoria for the running of the Listed Blue Diamond Preview (Fillies), the Listed Blue Diamond Preview (Colts and Geldings), the Listed Zeditave Stakes and the Listed Kevin Hayes Stakes. Royal Randwick was the venue in New South Wales for the running of the Listed Australia Day Cup whilst Ascot was the venue in Perth for the Listed Australia Day Stakes.

 

TBNSW members were successful in the Listed Blue Diamond Preview (Colts and Geldings).

 


In Melbourne

Sandown Lakeside was the venue for black type racing in Melbourne with the running of the Listed Blue Diamond Preview (Fillies), the Listed Blue Diamond Preview (Colts and Geldings), the Listed Zeditave Stakes and the Listed Kevin Hayes Stakes the highlights on an eight event card.

 

TBNSW members recorded a winner (a listed race), 2 second placings and 2 third placings on the day.
