YASUMORI WINS THE LISTED

CARBINE CLUB STAKES

TBNSW member Gooree Park Stud recorded another black type success when Yasumori scored in the Listed Carbine Club Stakes run at Royal Randwick on 7 April 2007. Congratulations to Gooree Park Stud.

Yasumori (Fusaichi Pegasus(USA)-Danielle (USA)) was too good for Empires Choice (NZ) (Redoute’s Choice-Rosie’s Star(NZ)) with Raheeb (Royal Academy(USA)-Gatana) bred by TBNSW member Vinery Australia in third position.

The win in the Carbine Club Stakes was the first at black type level for Yasumori who has only faced the starter 7 times for 3 wins, 2 second placings and a third placing.

CARBINE CLUB STAKES

A great result for TBNSW members providing the quinella in the Listed Fernhill Handicap run at Royal Randwick on 7 April 2007. Congratulations to TBNSW member Hobartville Stud , the breeder of the winner of the event Stone Canyon and to TBNSW member Mr G Harvey , the breeder of the runner-up.

Stone Canyon (Rubiton-Best Out West) was successful from Arlington (Red Ransom(USA) -Savannah Success) with My Sweet Cookie (Hussonet(USA)-Miss Heath) third.

This is the first black type success for Stone Canyon who has only had five race starts for two wins.
