SAFWA SALUTES IN THE LISTED

PLATE AND TBNSW MEMBERS

QUINELLA EVENT

TBNSW members recorded yet another quinella in a black type event in the Listed Japan Racing Association Plate run at Royal Randwick on 9 April 2007. Congratulations to TBNSW member the T W Archer Trust the breeder of Safwa the winner of the event and to TBNSW member Mr C Lawlor , the breeder of the runner-up.

 

Safwa (Danehill(USA)-Showella(NZ)) was successful from Ausbred King (Masterclass (USA))-Stormy Zephyr) with Honor In War (USA) (Lord at War(ARG)-Catumbella(USA)) in third position.

 

This is the second black type success for Safwa who takes her record to 5 wins and 2 third placings from 13 career starts with $264,580 in prizemoney.

TBNSW MEMBERS DOMINATE

LISTED P J BELL HANDICAP

A fantastic result for TBNSW members providing the trifecta in the Listed P J Bell Handicap run at Royal Randwick on 9 April 2007. Congratulations to TBNSW member Dartbrook Downs Thoroughbreds , the breeder of the winner of the event Hot ‘n’ Ready, TBNSW member Emirates Park Pty Limited , the breeder of the runner-up and TBNSW member Mr F Peisah , the breeder of the third placegetter.

 

Hot ‘n’ Ready (More Than Ready(USA)-All Trumped Up) was successful from Doojah (Danewin-Nawadder) with Miss Fantabulous (Encosta de Lago-Miss Chanel) in third place.

Hot ‘n’ Ready recorded her first black type success in the P J Bell Handicap and now takes her record to 4 wins and 4 second placings from 11 race starts for $195,940 in career prizemoney.
