When Desert War scored in the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Royal Randwick on 14 April 2007 he gave his breeder TBNSW member Gooree Park Stud yet another black type win. Congratulations to Gooree Park Stud .

Desert War (Desert King(IRE)-High Heels) was successful from Haradasun (Fusaichi Pegasus(USA)-Circles of Gold) bred by TBNSW member Arch of Gold Pty Limited Syndicate with Spirit of Tara (Song of Tara(IRE)-Gagoosh) in third place.

Desert War takes his record to 12 wins (ten at black type level including six Group 1 successes, three Group 2 wins and a Listed Race), 2 second placings and 7 third placings from 38 race starts for $2,934,610 in career prizemoney to date.

STAKES TO HOT DANISH

Congratulations to TBNSW member Mr D Parker the breeder of Hot Danish the winner of the Group 2 Emancipation Stakes run at Royal Randwick on 14 April 2007.

Hot Danish (Nothin’ Leica Dane-Hot ‘n’ Breezy) was too good for Kosi Bay(NZ) (Spinning World(USA)-Calvinia) with More Than Lucky (More Than Ready(USA)- Cerebella(NZ)) third.

This is the second black type success for Hot Danish who has the impressive race record of five wins from six starts with $253,180 in prizemoney to date.
