FIRST BLACK TYPE SUCCESS

IN THE LISTED PACESETTER

HANDICAP AND TBNSW

MEMBERS TRIFECTA EVENT

When Newton’s Rings saluted in the Listed Pacesetter Handicap at Gosford on 28 June 2007 he recorded his first black type success and TBNSW members provided the trifecta in the event. Congratulations to TBNSW member Touchstone Bloodstock Breeding the breeder of Newton’s Rings, TBNSW member Barador Pty Limited the breeder of the runner-up and TBNSW member Kentucky Thoroughbreds the breeder of the third placegetter.

 

Newton’s Rings (Spectrum(IRE)-Primas) was successful from Hairy (Fuji Kiseki(JPN)-Final Waltz) with Sir Covet (Covetous-Silent Dawn) in third place.

 

This was the first black type success for Newton’s Rings who takes his record to 17 wins, 10 second placings and 4 third placings from 46 race starts for $542,100 in prizemoney.

LISTED SUNSHINE COAST

GUINEAS TO MASLINS BEACH

Congratulations to TBNSW member Vinery Stud the breeder of Maslins Beach who was successful in the Listed Sunshine Coast Guineas run at the Sunshine Coast on 30 June 2007.

 

Maslins Beach (Flying Spur-New Acquaintance(NZ))) was too good for Sequential Charm (Sequalo-Laudham Charm) with Danehill Princess (Danehill(USA)-Gypsy Princess(IRE)) third.

 

This is the first black type success for Maslins Beach who has only faced the starter ten times for 3 wins, 2 second placings and 2 third placings with $133,850 in prizemoney to date.
