LISTED RAMORNIE HANDICAP

AND TBNSW MEMBERS

QUINELLA EVENT

Congratulations to TBNSW member Mr G Harvey the breeder of The Jackal the winner of the Listed Ramornie Handicap run at Grafton on 11 July 2007 and to TBNSW member Kentucky Thoroughbreds the breeder of the runner up.

 

The Jackal (Bite the Bullet(USA)-Positive Surprise) was successful from Sir Covet (Covetous-Silent Dawn) with Gee I Jane (NZ) (Jahafil (GB)-Miss Distinction(NZ)) third.

 

This is the third black type success for The Jackal who has recorded 9 wins, 7 second placings and 2 third placings from 29 race starts for some $615,700 in prizemoney.

WEEKEND RACING 07/07/07

Black type racing was conducted in Queensland and Victoria this weekend.

 

Eagle Farm was the venue in Queensland for the running of the Group 3 Queen’s Cup and the Listed Ascot Handicap.

 

Sandown Lakeside was the venue in Victoria for the running of the Listed Winter Championship.

 

In Brisbane

Eagle Farm was the venue for black type racing in Queensland on Saturday with the running of the Group 3 Queen’s Cup and the Listed Ascot Handicap the highlights on an eight event program. TBNSW members recorded 2 winners, 2 second placings and 4 third placings on the day.
