retirement of Mr Richard Turnley. Mr Whelan stated "I am delighted to join the TBNSW
Committee and look forward to advancing the interests of NSW breeders."
TBNSW President Mr Muir commented "TBNSW is most
fortunate to have found such an outstanding replacement for Mr Richard Turnley. Mr Whelan
brings a wealth of knowledge to the Committee which will prove invaluable to TBNSW".
Mr Muir also paid tribute to outgoing Committee Member Mr
Richard Turnley citing the monumental amount of time devoted not only to TBNSW and
Thoroughbred Breeders Australia (TBA) by Mr Turnley, but also the thoroughbred industry. He
stated "I cannot thank Mr Turnley enough for his tireless dedication to our industry
and wish him every success in his future endeavours."
