WEEKEND RACING - 03 & 04/03/07

Black type racing was conducted in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland this weekend.

Warwick Farm was the venue for black type racing in New South Wales on Saturday for the running of the Group 1 Chipping Norton Stakes, the Group 2 Surround Stakes, the Group 3 Liverpool City Cup, the Group 3 Kindergarten Stakes and the Listed Wiggle Quality Handicap. Caulfield was the venue in Victoria for the running of the Group 1 Futurity Stakes, the Group 2 Caulfield Autumn Classic (National Jockey Celebration Day Classic), the Listed W J Adams Stakes (JRA Stakes), the Listed Pol Roger Stakes and the Listed Victoria Gold Cup. Morphettville was the venue in South Australia for the running of the Group 3 R N Irwin Stakes (German Arms Hotel Stakes), the Group 3 Breeders Stakes, the Group 3 Carlton Draught Stakes and the Listed C S Hayes Memorial Cup.

On Sunday Pinjarra was the venue in Western Australia for the running of the Listed Pinjarra Cup.

TBNSW members were successful in the Group 1 Chipping Norton Stakes and the Group 3 Kindergarten Stakes.

In Sydney

Warwick Farm was the venue for black type racing in Sydney on Saturday with the running of the Group 1 Chipping Norton Stakes, the Group 2 Surround Stakes, the Group 3 Liverpool City Cup, the Group 3 Kindergarten Stakes and the Listed Wiggle Quality Handicap the highlights on a nine event card. TBNSW members recorded 2 winners (a Group 1 and a Group 3), 8 second placings and 6 third placings on the day.
