WEEKEND RACING - 10/03/07

Black type racing was conducted in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia this weekend.

Caulfield was the venue for black type racing in Victoria on Saturday for the running of the Group 1 Newmarket Handicap, the Group 1 Australian Cup, the Group 1 Cadbury Guineas, the Group 2 VRC Sires’ Produce Stakes, the Group 2 Kewney Stakes, the Group 3 Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes, the Group 3 Schweppervescence Trophy, the Listed Chubb Stakes and the Listed PFD Food Services Stakes (Jayco Sprint). Royal Randwick was the venue in New South Wales for the running of the Group 1 Randwick Guineas, the Group 2 Challenge Stakes, the Group 3 Skyline Stakes, the Group 3 Sweet Embrace Stakes, the Listed Eskimo Prince Stakes, the Listed Aspirations Quality Handicap and the Listed Wenona Girl Handicap. Eagle Farm was the venue in Queensland for the running of the Listed Members’ Cup. Ascot was the venue in Western Australia for the running of the Listed Natasha Stakes.

TBNSW members were successful in the Listed Eskimo Prince Stakes, the Listed Aspirations Quality Handicap, the Listed Wenona Girl Handicap and the Listed Chubb Stakes.

In Melbourne

TBNSW members recorded a winner (Listed Race), 3 second placings and 2 third placings on the day.
