FOR HE’S NO PIE EATER

Congratulations to TBNSW member Mrs J S Mackay the breeder of He’s No Pie Eater the winner of the Group 1 Rosehill Guineas run at Rosehill Gardens on 24 March 2007.

He’s No Pie Eater (Canny Lad-Ladies’ Day(CAN)) was too good for Ambitious General (General Nediym-Lake Lagoda) with Fiumicino (NZ) (Zabeel(NZ)-Latte(NZ)) in third position.

This is the second Group One success for He’s No Pie Eater (and his breeder) who has now recorded 5 wins, 2 second placings and 3 third placings from his 15 race starts for $666,500 in prizemoney.

DEFERENTIAL SALUTES IN

GROUP 2 PAGO PAGO STAKES

When Deferential scored in the Group 2 Pago Pago Stakes at Rosehill Gardens on 24 March 2007 he gave his breeder TBNSW member Woodlands Stud yet another black type win. Congratulations to Woodlands Stud.

Deferential (Royal Academy(USA)-Talent Time) won from Cecconi (Encosta de Lago- Tonicity) and Acey Ducey (Xaar(GB) -Deduce (USA)) who dead-heated for second place.

This was the first black type success for Deferential who has only faced the starter 5 times for a win and a second placing.
