DOWNHILL RACER TAKES

GROUP 2 MAGIC NIGHT STAKES

AND TBNSW MEMBERS

TRIFECTA EVENT

A wonderful result for TBNSW members providing the trifecta in the Group 2 Magic Night Stakes at Rosehill Gardens on 24 March 2007. Congratulations to TBNSW member Swettenham Stud , the breeder of the winner of the event Downhill Racer, TBNSW member Darley Australia , the breeder of the runner-up and TBNSW member Gooree Park Stud , the breeder of the third placegetter.

 

Downhill Racer (Danehill Dancer(IRE)-Trick Ski) was successful from Camarilla (Elusive Quality(USA)-Camarena(NZ)) with Gamble Me (Rock of Gibraltar(IRE)-Good Gamble (USA)) in third position.

 

This is the first black type success for Downhill Racer who has only had three race starts for two wins and a second placing.

BIRTHDAY CARD STAKES

Another fantastic result for TBNSW members providing the trifecta in the Group 3 Birthday Card Stakes at Rosehill Gardens on 24 March 2007. Congratulations to Mr D F Bourke , the breeder of the winner of the event Aunty Betty, TBNSW member Central Pastoral Group , the breeder of the runner-up and TBNSW member Gayridge Investments Pty Limited , the breeder of the third placegetter.

 

Aunty Betty (Encounter-What’s The Buzz) won from Absolutelyfabulous (Langfuhr (CAN)-Joker’s Girl) with Martiniforus (Fuji Kiseki(JPN)-Palace Fashion(NZ)) in third place.

 

Aunty Betty recorded her first black type success in the Birthday Card Stakes and now takes her record to 6 wins, 3 second placings and a third placing from 16 race starts for $167,350 in career prizemoney.
