EPONA STAKES

TBNSW members recorded their third black type trifecta at the Rosehill Gardens meeting on 24 March 2007 in the Listed Epona Stakes. Congratulations to TBNSW member the T W Archer Trust the breeder of Safwa the winner of the event, TBNSW member Iskander Racing Syndicate Pty Limited , the breeder of the runner-up and to TBNSW member Ramsey Pastoral Co Pty Limited the breeder of the third placegetter.

Safwa (Danehill(USA)-Showella(NZ)) was successful from Grey Stream (Lion Hunter- Ella Mukkadella) with Upper Echelon (Fusaichi Pegasus(USA))-Nahayan(NZ)) in third position.

This is the first black type success for Safwa who takes her record to 4 wins and 2 third placings from 11 career starts with $153,580 in prizemoney.

WINS THE LISTED

WALTER BROWN STAKES

TBNSW member Swettenham Stud recorded another black type success when Extension of Time scored in the Listed Walter Brown Stakes at Cheltenham Park on 24 March 2007. Congratulations to Swettenham Stud .

Extension of Time (Dash for Cash-Nina Haraka) was too good for Class Apart (French Deputy(USA)-Stylish Lass) with Miss Hijinx (Red Ransom(USA)-Glammis) third.

The win in the Walter Brown Stakes was the first at black type level for Extension of Time who has only faced the starter 5 times for 3 wins, a second placing and a third placing.
