WEEKEND RACING - 24 & 25/03/07

Black type racing was conducted in New South Wales, Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria this weekend.

Rosehill Gardens was the venue in New South Wales on Saturday for the running of the Group 1 Rosehill Guineas, the Group 2 Ajax Stakes (Veolia Environmental Services Stakes), the Group 2 Magic Night Stakes (Parramatta Leagues Club Stakes), the Group 2 Pago Pago Stakes (Darley Stakes), the Group 3 Birthday Card Stakes (Cleanevent Stakes), the Listed Darby Munro Stakes, the Listed N E Manion Quality Cup and the Listed Epona Stakes. Ascot was the venue in Perth for the running of the Group 3 Western Australian Oaks and the Listed Matchmaker Stakes. Cheltenham Park was the venue in Adelaide for the running of the Listed Walter Brown Stakes and the Listed HC Nitschke Stakes. Caulfield was the venue in Victoria for the running of the Listed Anniversary Vase.

Warwick Farm was the venue in New South Wales on Sunday for the running of the Group 1 The Galaxy and the Listed T L Baillieu Handicap.

TBNSW members were successful in the Group 1 Rosehill Guineas, the Group 2 Pago Pago Stakes (Darley Stakes), the Group 2 Magic Night Stakes (Parramatta Leagues Club Stakes), the Group 3 Birthday Card Stakes (Cleanevent Stakes), the Listed Epona Stakes and the Listed Walter Brown Stakes.

In Sydney - 24.03.07

TBNSW members recorded 5 winners (including a Group 1, two Group 2’s, a Group 3 and a Listed Race), 4 second placings and 3 third placings on the day.
