THE JACKAL TOO GOOD IN THE

LISTED PRIME MINISTER’S CUP

When The Jackal scored in the Listed Prime Minister’s Cup at the Gold Coast on 5 May 2007 he gave his breeder TBNSW member Mr G Harvey yet another black type win. Congratulations to Mr Harvey .

 

The Jackal (Bite the Bullet(USA)-Positive Surprise) was successful from Daunting Lad (Latarmiss(IRE)-New Day Dawning(NZ)) with Mr Hornblower (Admiralty(USA)-Anika Joy) in third place.

 

This is the first black type success for The Jackal who takes his record to 7 wins, 7 second placings and 2 third placings from 24 race starts for $420,850 in career prizemoney to date.

WEEKEND RACING 5 & 6/05/07

Black type racing was conducted in Queensland, South Australia and New South Wales this weekend.

 

The Gold Coast was the venue in Queensland on Saturday for the running of the Group 2 A D Hollindale Stakes, the Listed Ken Russell Memorial Classic, the Listed Prime Minister’s Cup, the Listed Silk Stocking, the Listed Gold Coast Guineas and the Listed Gold Coast Bracelet. Rosehill Gardens was the venue in New South Wales for the running of the Listed Civic Stakes.

 

Morphettville was the venue in South Australia on Sunday for the running of the Group 1 South Australian Derby, the Group 1 Goodwood Handicap, the Group 3 Gerard Corporation Stakes, the Group 3 The Jansz, the Group 3 South Australian Oaks, the Group 3 Sires Produce Stakes, the Listed Dunlop Flooring Stakes and the Listed Proud Miss Stakes (A V Jennings Home Improvements Stakes).

 

TBNSW members were successful in the Listed Prime Minister’s Cup.

 

At the Gold Coast - 05.05.07

The Gold Coast was the venue for black type racing in Queensland on Saturday with the running of the Group 2 A D Hollindale Stakes, the Listed Ken Russell Memorial Classic, the Listed Prime Minister’s Cup, the Listed Silk Stocking, the Listed Gold Coast Guineas and the Listed Gold Coast Bracelet the highlights on an eight event program. TBNSW members recorded a winner (a Listed Race), 3 second placings and 2 third placings on the day.
