GOLDEN SLIPPER STAKES

A wonderful result for TBNSW member Mr George Altomonte of Corumbene Stud the breeder of Sebring the most impressive winner of the Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes run at Rosehill Gardens on 19 April 2008. Our congratulations to Mr Altomonte .

Sebring (More Than Ready(USA)-Purespeed) won from Von Costa De Hero (Encosta de Lago-Piavonic) with Portillo (Red Ransom(USA)-Snowdrift(FR)) bred by TBNSW Member Mr P Fleming in third position.

Sebring has the fantastic record of four wins (three at black type level) from as many starts having earned $2,178,800 in prizemoney to date.

TO TUESDAY JOY

When Tuesday Joy (NZ) scored in the Group 1 The BMW at Rosehill Gardens on 19 April 2008, she gave her breeder TBNSW member Strawberry Hill Stud another Group 1 success. Congratulations to S trawberry Hill Stud .

Tuesday Joy (NZ) (Carnegie(IRE)-Joie Denise) was too strong for Princess Coup (Encosta de Lago-Stoneyfell Road) with Sirmione (Encosta de Lago-World Guide(NZ)) in third place.

This is the third Group One success for Tuesday Joy (NZ) who has recorded four wins (all at Group level), 6 second placings and 2 third placings from her 17 race starts for $2,721,550 in prizemoney.
