WEEKEND RACING 2/2/2008

Black type racing was conducted in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia this weekend.

Flemington was the venue for black type racing in Victoria on Saturday with the running of the Group 1 Lightning Stakes, the Group 3 The Vanity, the Group 3 C S Hayes Stakes and the Listed Talindert Stakes. Rosehill Gardens was the venue in New South Wales for the running of the Listed Starlight Stakes. Morphettville was the venue in South Australia for the running of the Listed Birthday Cup and Ascot was the venue in Western Australia for the running of the Listed Challenge Stakes.

  In Melbourne

Flemington was the venue for black type racing in Melbourne on Saturday with the running of the Group 1 Lightning Stakes, the Group 3 The Vanity, the Group 3 C S Hayes Stakes and the Listed Talindert Stakes the highlights on an eight event card. TBNSW members recorded a winner, 3 second placings and a third placing on the day.
