A wonderful result for TBNSW members in the Group 3 Blue Diamond Prelude (Fillies) at Caulfield on 9 February 2008 providing the trifecta in the event.

Congratulations to TBNSW members Darley Australia the breeder of Believe ‘N’ Succeed the winner of the event, Strawberry Hill Stud , the breeder of the runner-up and to Mr M J and Mrs D Stacey the breeders of the third placegetter.

Believe ‘N’ Succeed (Exceed and Excel- Arctic Drift(USA)) was successful from Sugar Babe (NZ) (Exceed and Excel-On Type) with Burgeis (Catbird-Grand Performance) in third position.

This is the first black type success for Believe ‘N’ Succeed who has only faced the starter twice for a win and a third placing.

When Diamond Cove scored in the Listed Bow Mistress Trophy at Hobart on 9 February 2008 she gave her breeder TBNSW member Mr G Harvey yet another black type success. Congratulations to Mr Harvey.

Diamond Cove (Octagonal(NZ)-Eliza Cove) was too good for Blazonry (Spectrum (IRE)-Burlington House) with Manihi Magic (Favorite Trick(USA)-Manihi Miss) in third place.

This is the first black type success for Diamond Cove who takes her record to 7 wins, 5 second placings and 2 third placings from her 27 career starts to date with $288,255 in prizemoney.
