Congratulations to TBNSW member Mr P Horwitz the breeder of Causeway Queen the winner of the Listed Tasmanian Oaks run at Launceston on 24 February 2008.

Causeway Queen (Giant’s Causeway(USA)- Soul Singer) was too good for Why For (Xaar(GB)-Dartington) with Butzie (Delago Brom-Wedge) third.

This is the second black type success for Causeway Queen who has recorded seven wins and a third placing from her 11 career starts with $263,880 in prizemoney.

Sarthemare (Street Cry(IRE)-City Liffey) was successul from Typhoon Fury (Hurricane Sky-Kuri Bay) with De Lightning Ridge (Tale of the Cat(USA)-Nanny Maroon) in third position.

This is the first black type success for Sarthemare who has only faced the starter three times for a win and a second placing.
