WEEKEND RACING 12/01/2008

Black type racing was conducted in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland this weekend.

Caulfield was the venue in Victoria for the running of the Group 3 Rubiton Stakes and the Listed Barton Stakes (John Dillion Stakes). Rosehill Gardens was the venue in New South Wales for the running of the Listed Frank Underwood Cup. Morphettville was the venue in South Australia for the running of the Listed Classic Mile. Doomben was the venue in Queensland for the running of the Listed Queensland Racing Quality.

TBNSW members were successful in the Group 3 Rubiton Stakes, the Listed Barton Stakes (John Dillion Stakes) and the Listed Frank Underwood Cup.

In Melbourne

Caulfield was the venue for black type racing in Melbourne on Saturday with the running of the Group 3 Rubiton Stakes and the Listed Barton Stakes (John Dillion Stakes) the highlights on an eight event card. TBNSW members recorded 2 winners (a Group 3 and a Listed Race) and 3 second placings on the day.
