LISTED FESTIVAL STAKES

A wonderful result for TBNSW members in the Listed Festival Stakes at Rosehill Gardens on 19 January 2008 providing the trifecta in the event. Congratulations to TBNSW members Invermien Pty Limited the breeder of Eremein the winner of the event, Mr J R and Mrs P D Cribb , the breeders of the runner-up and to Gooree Park Stud the breeder of the third placegetter.

Eremein (Timber Country(USA)-Marrego) made a magnificent return to racing to score from Lancaster Park (Arena-Dr Murray) with Beauty Watch (Belong To Me(USA)-Rush for Gold(USA)) in third position.

Eremein has now recorded 12 wins (including 5 at Group 1 level, a Group 2 and a Listed Race), 7 second placings and 2 third placings from 27 career starts for $4,260,445 in prizemoney to date.

MIDWEEK RACING 17/01/2008

Black type racing was held in New South Wales on Thursday night with Canterbury Park the venue for the running of the Listed Canterbury Classic.

Canterbury Park was the venue for black type racing in Sydney on Thursday night with the running of the Listed Canterbury Classic the highlight on a seven event program. TBNSW members recorded 5 winners, 4 second placings and 3 third placings on the night.
