A TRIFECTA TO TBNSW MEMBERS IN

THE LISTED TBNSW BREEDERS PLATE

A wonderful result for TBNSW members providing the trifecta in TBNSW’s sponsored event, the time honoured Listed TBNSW Breeders Plate, run at Royal Randwick on 1 March 2008. Congratulations to TBNSW members Corumbene Stud , the breeder of Sebring the winner of the event, Mr DPR Esplin the breeder of the runner-up and to Mr G Harvey the breeder of the third placegetter.

Sebring (More Than Ready(USA)-Purespeed) won from Dubai to Sydney (Dubai Destination(USA)-Sydney’s Quest) with Bid Spotter (Redoute’s Choice-Isolda(NZ)) in third position.

Sebring has the fantastic record of three wins (two a black type level) from as many starts having earned $153,00 in prizemoney to date.

PORTILLO TOO GOOD IN THE LISTED

GIMCRACK STAKES AND TBNSW

MEMBERS QUINELLA EVENT

Congratulations to TBNSW member Mr P Fleming the breeder of Portillo the winner of the Listed Gimcrack Stakes run at Royal Randwick on 1 March 2008.

Portillo (Red Ransom(USA)-Snowdrift(FR)) was successful from Rock Me Baby (Rock of Gibraltar(IRE)-Highest Cool) bred by TBNSW member Kia-Ora Stud with Glowlamp (Encosta de Lago-Push a Venture(GB)) third.

This is the first black type success for Portillo has only faced the starter 3 times for a win and a third placing.
