WEEKEND RACING 22 & 23/03/08

Black type racing was conducted in New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland this weekend.

Royal Randwick was the venue for black type racing in New South Wales on Saturday with the running of the Group 1 Chipping Norton Stakes, the Group 1 The Galaxy, the Group 2 Surround Stakes, the Group 3 Kindergarten Stakes, the Group 3 Liverpool City Cup and the Listed Wiggle Stakes. Caulfield was the venue in Victoria for the running of the Group 3 Easter Cup. Ascot was the venue in Western Australia for the running of the Listed Easter Stakes, the Listed Gimcrack Stakes, the Listed Melvista Stakes and the Listed Perth Stakes. Oakbank was the venue in South Australia for the running of the Listed Oakbank Stakes. Doomben was the venue in Queensland for the running of the Listed Bribie Handicap.

On Sunday, Gosford was the venue in New South Wales for the running of the Listed Gosford Gold Cup.

TBNSW members were successful in the Group 1 Chipping Norton Stakes, the Group 1 The Galaxy and the Listed Wiggle Stakes.

In Sydney

Royal Randwick was the venue for black type racing in New South Wales on Saturday with the running of the Group 1 Chipping Norton Stakes, the Group 1 The Galaxy, the Group 2 Surround Stakes, the Group 3 Kindergarten Stakes, the Group 3 Liverpool City Cup and the Listed Wiggle Stakes the highlights on a nine event program. TBNSW members recorded 5 winners (including two Group 1 wins and a Listed Race), 4 second placings and 7 third placings on the day.
