WEEKEND RACING 26/04/2008

Black type racing was conducted in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia this weekend.

Royal Randwick was the venue for black type racing in New South Wales on Saturday with the running of the Group 1 Australian Derby, the Group 1 T J Smith Stakes, the Group 1 Doncaster Handicap, the Group 1 Sires Produce Stakes, the Group 2 Chairman’s Handicap, the Group 3 Adrian Knox Stakes, the Listed Fernhill Handicap, the Listed Carbine Club Stakes and the Listed P J Bell Handicap. Eagle Farm was the venue in Queensland for the running of the Group 2 Sir Byrne Hart Stakes, the Listed Peter Gallagher Stakes and the Listed Queensland Day 3YO Plate. Cheltenham Park was the venue in South Australia for the running of the Listed Walter Brown Stakes, the Listed John D Lee Stakes and the Listed Laelia Stakes.

TBNSW members were successful in the Group 1 Sires Produce Stakes, the Group 2 Sir Byrne Hart Stakes and the Group 3 Adrian Knox Stakes.

In Sydney
