FOR APRIL 2008

There has been a tie for the Best Performed Horse bred by a TBNSW member (metropolitan racing) for the month of April.

Two horses, namely Sebring and Tuesday Joy (NZ), were locked together at the end of the month both having recorded dual Group One wins.

Congratulations to TBNSW member Mr George Altomonte of Corumbene Stud the breeder of Sebring and to TBNSW member Strawberry Hill Stud the breeder of Tuesday Joy (NZ).

Sebring (More Than Ready(USA)-Purespeed) was successful in the Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes at Rosehill Gardens on 19 April 2008 and the Group 1 AJC Sires Produce Stakes run at Royal Randwick on 26 April 2008.

As at 30 April, Sebring had recorded five wins (four at black type level) from as many starts having earned $2,473,094 in prizemoney.

Tuesday Joy (NZ) (Carnegie (IRE)-Joie Denise) was successful in the Group 1 Ranvet Stakes at Canterbury Park on 5 April 2008 and the Group 1 THE BMW at Rosehill Gardens on 19 April 2008.

As at 30 April, Tuesday Joy (NZ) had recorded four wins (all at Group level), 6 second placings and 2 third placings from her 17 race starts for $2,721,550 in prizemoney.

with $362,750 in prizemoney to date.
