Warrnambool was the venue for black type racing in Victoria on Thursday with the running of the Listed Warrnambool Cup the highlight of the Warrnambool three day carnival. TBNSW members were successful in taking out the main event, the Listed Warrnambool Cup.

WEEKEND RACING 03/05/2008

Black type racing was conducted in New South Wales and Queensland this weekend.

Royal Randwick was the venue for black type racing in New South Wales on Saturday with the running of the Group 1 Sydney Cup, the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes, the Group 1 Champagne Stakes, the Group 1 All Aged Stakes, the Group 2 Emancipation Stakes, the Group 3 Frank Packer Plate and the Listed James H B Carr Stakes. The Gold Coast was the venue in Queensland for the running of the Group 2 A D Hollindale Stakes, the Group 3 Gold Coast Guineas, the Listed Ken Russell Classic, the Listed Gold Coast Bracelet, the Listed Silk Stocking Handicap and the Listed Prime Minister’s Cup.

TBNSW members were successful in the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes, the Group 1 All Aged Stakes, the Group 3 Gold Coast Guineas, the Listed James H B Carr Stakes and the Listed Ken Russell Classic.

In Sydney
