Silverdale Farm, located in the picturesque Southern Highlands, is seeking passionate and experienced Stud Hands to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work at one of Australia’s premier boutique breeding farms, known for its world-class facilities, attention to detail, and supportive team environment.

Silverdale Farm – Where Excellence in Thoroughbred Breeding Begins
Hands-on experience with young horses, particularly yearling preparation and foaling
Assist Farriers and veterinarians
Handling, exercising and caring for horses of various ages
Educating yearlings to be groomed and accept basic gear
Overseeing daily care and supervision of horses, paddocks and stable work
Availability for day-to-day stable duties – mucking boxes, general farm cleaning and tidying
Training and preparation of horses for major sales
A strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine love of horses
Team players who are keen to contribute to a high-performing environment
MUST HAVE: Experience handling horses and yearling sales preparation
