An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time Farm Hand to join the Cressfield farming team, located just 10 minutes north of Scone. Cressfield is a 2,200-hectare Thoroughbred breeding enterprise that also runs lucerne hay and beef cattle operations, all managed with a strong focus on regenerative agriculture. Reporting to the Farming Manager, your responsibilities will include: Operation and maintenance of irrigation and stock water systems Operation and basic servicing of farm machinery Hay and silage production across 50 hectares Fencing and general farm upkeep Cattle husbandry, supporting a herd of 250 Angus breeders We’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in agriculture, a strong work ethic, and great attention to detail. The ability to work independently and contribute positively to a small, established team is essential. Gardenvale Polo, situated in Regional NSW (Frogmore & Ellerston) is seeking an experienced full-time Horse Trainer/Polo Manager. The purpose of this role: To meet all aspects of the Australian Polo operation requirements of Finemore Pastoral and associated entity Gardenvale Polo and to support the international horse training, breeding and selection program.
Essential Criteria

• Monitoring horse health and soundness, reporting any issues to management
• Breaking in and educating horses for their polo careers, including
a. Training horses to be ridden for the first time and subsequent times
b. Training horses to be ridden, including playing in practice chukkas and to stick and ball
c. Providing pre- and post-natal care of broodmares and foals
d. Foal watching & foaling down mares
e. Handling foals and administering medication both orally & intramuscularly as required
f. Monitoring mare ovulation & pregnancy
g. Training and handling young horses to be ridden for the first time and subsequenttimes
h. Training the horses on the property, including young recently broken horses, by educating horses on the flat & stick & balling
i. Schooling horses in chukkas and tournaments
j. Training younge horses to be accustomed to equipment
k. Re-educating young horses resolve problems such as biting, kicking & bolting
• Assisting with all aspects of veterinary work from handling horses for the vet treating minor ailments to administering medications and pre-breeding work
• Extensive experience with all aspects of Polo operations

An appropriate salary of between $74,000 and $77,000 will be offered.
