Stallion of the Month: Home Affairs

Coolmore Stud sire Home Affairs has quickly transitioned from elite performer to one of the most talked-about young sires in the country.

The son of I Am Invincible out of Miss Interiors (Flying Spur), Home Affairs secured a dominant three-length victory in the G1 Coolmore Stud S., whilst his triumph in the G1 Lightning S. – where he defeated the champion Nature Strip – highlighted his elite-level ability against proven competition.

At stud, Home Affairs has made an immediate impact. From his first crop, he has already sired multiple stakes performers, headlined by G1 Golden Slipper S. winner Guest House (ex Flamboyant Lass), alongside Group-winning juveniles Kinnaird, Gin Twist and Miss Janet. With seven individual winners early in his first season, he is setting the pace on the First-Season Sires table.

Coolmore’s Nominations & Sales Manager, Colm Santry, noted: “To produce a Golden Slipper-winning colt in his first crop is a remarkable achievement… he’s fulfilling the lofty expectations we always held for him.” In doing so, Home Affairs follows in the footsteps of influential sires such as Danehill and Extreme Choice.

Coolmore Australia boasts a century-long legacy of producing top-class racehorses and a commitment to global excellence. With his fee rising to $176,000 in 2026, Home Affairs represents the next chapter for a stud long renowned for standing elite stallions.
