Spend your Summer in the Widden Valley! We are seeking passionate, motivated and hardworking team members to form part our elite yearling preparation crew from the 12th of October for the 2026/27 Season. What we can offer: The perfect opportunity to gain valuable horse experience & learn about the industry, while at the same time providing a fun and rewarding thoroughbred experience in the most spectacular surroundings. On farm shared furnished accommodation, Working with an exciting young team that is passionate in helping develop skills of newcomers to the farm, Opportunity to attend 2027 major yearling sales across Australia, Competitive salary. Daily duties may include, but are not limited to:
Cleaning boxes
Day to day exercising of yearlings (Lunging, handwalking etc)
Assisting the Farrier/ Vet
Grooming
Feeding yearlings
Assisting with Sale photos and videos Good, motivated work ethic and a positive, fun outlook.
Someone who will immerse themselves into the team culture on the farm.
Previous horse experience is preferred but not essential.
Must be able to start on the 12th October 2026. show more
